We start the day
with breakfast at 7 am. The voyage will give you fantastic impressions and
views so you better be rested. We will today pass 18 locks that lift us 72
meters above sea level. The canal in connection with the locks are here and
there very narrow and can be looked upon as bewitched with a lush verdure
sometimes hanging over our boat. At the lock system (5 lock chambers) in
Vrangfoss, you have a possibility to stroll along the canal while the boat
is going up the locks. When we passed this lock system, it is time for
lunch.
When we leave the
last lock at Hogga we sail out on a lake system that leads us into the
Norwegian mountain area, here we might glimpse snow on some of the highest
mountain peaks. At dawn, we moor at Dalen our destination this trip. We will
stay overnight at the Dalen Hotel that is very beautiful and has an
interesting exotic tale. This evening we will have dinner together all of us
at 8 pm. |
